01about me

get to know me

Hi, I'm Mary — I live in London, and I've been fascinated by homes and buildings for as long as I can remember. Not a CV, not a cover letter. Just a little about who I am.

chapter i

a little about me

I love cats, graffiti art, painting, architecture, jazz, R&B, Japanese and Korean food, especially sushi. I'm a social butterfly who enjoys networking, meeting new people, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.

chapter ii

what I'm passionate about in property

I'm also passionate about property development, real estate, interior design, architecture, skyscrapers and property investment. I enjoy learning about property management, tenant and landlord relationships, property marketing, housing, property compliance and building design. I'm naturally creative, organised, approachable and enthusiastic about developing my professional skills within the property industry.

chapter iii

where it all began

My interest in property started naturally. From around the age of 13, I loved walking around different neighbourhoods, looking at architecture, exploring estate agency window displays and going to property viewings with my dad.

chapter iv

how it grew

I was always curious about how homes were designed, how rooms were laid out and how spaces could be improved. Over time, that grew into an interest in the whole property journey — from construction and development to interior design, marketing, sales and property management.

chapter v

my personality

I'm ambitious, creative, approachable and always willing to learn. I enjoy meeting people, learning new things and taking on different responsibilities.

chapter vi

education & my current journey

Studying GCSE Design Technology introduced me to technical drawings, elevations, measurements and floor plans, which strengthened my love of architecture and design. Since then I've gained experience with Your Move, Peabody, CBRE and Springpod.

chapter vii

what I'm passionate about

How properties are designed, developed, marketed and managed — and how housing organisations create welcoming communities.

chapter viii

what matters to me

My time at Peabody showed me how much resident relationships, confidentiality and good customer service matter. I care about treating people well and making every interaction a positive one.

chapter ix

what motivates me

I know that building a successful career takes commitment, patience and continuous development. I'm motivated by learning from experienced professionals, contributing to a team and taking on new challenges.

chapter x

my spare time

Art, painting and drawing, listening to jazz and R&B, and exploring creative ideas — and, of course, admiring beautiful buildings and interiors.
